What Electrolyzed Water Can Do
In food service, food processing, hotels, correctional facilities and schools the cleaning and sanitizing applications exceed the applications supported by chemical solutions because electrolyzed water is completely non-toxic and therefore can be used in places where chemicals cannot, and the need for protective clothing is eliminated. Acidic electrolyzed water can be used to safely sanitize meat, poultry, fish and vegetables when applied directly or washed with the solution.
Sometimes in grocery stores, customers notice things that the store manager may miss. If they notice mold on spray nozzles in the fresh vegetable section they lose confidence in the quality of food that they are consuming. If the vegetables are sprayed with acidic electrolyzed water, the system remains clean and the shelf life of the veggies is extended. In a meat processing environment, acidic electrolyzed water can be used to clean all equipment and surfaces.
